Desert Mob is considered to be one of the top three Aboriginal art events in the country. No wonder, since it’s an opportunity to tour 40 community-based art centres in one place. Vibrant artworks by central Australian artists will be on show from 10am to 4pm during the week and 11am to 4pm on weekends.
The exhibition has been going for 23 years and has expanded from an annual event to include a marketplace and symposium. Today, Desert Mob pulls visitors from all around Australia. Those with an interest in art and culture shouldn’t miss it.
