Moura is a small locality in the Capricorn region of Queensland. The town is also known as the heart of Dawson Valley and is famous for wheat cultivation, coal mines, cotton processing and chemical manufacturing. The town lies in the shire of Banana and experiences an average annual rainfall of 28.8 inches.
