Drive Across the Eyre Peninsula in your Rental Car

Heading on a road trip in the Eyre Peninsula is nothing short of magical. You can stop at any point of the Eyre Peninsula to admire the spectacular scenes that this area is renowned for. Famous for the rugged and wild coastline, there are plenty of road trips for you to enjoy. Some are more close by, like the Lincoln National Park, which is just 15-minutes away. Others are far further afield, like the Gawler Ranges National Park, which is over a three and a half-hour drive from Port Lincoln. While this might seem long, it’s definitely worth it, with spectacular rock formations taking centre stage and dazzling tourists for centuries.
Just over an hour away is the Instagram-worthy limestone formation, the Cummings Monument. Drive here to see its impressive structure at sunrise or sunset, where the orange hues will simply light the limestone on a glowing fire. This is also a great spot for surfers, with incredible waves gracing the water each and every day.
