Welcome toWodonga, the Victorian half of the thriving urban area that is Albury-Wodonga. Whether you’re here for business or pleasure,Wodonga has a wealth of attractions to keep you entertained.
Wodonga began life in the 1850s as a customs post on the Murray River for the Victoria-New South Wales border. Today it’s an industrial centre for northeast Victoria and supports a year-round tourist industry based around the beautiful Victorian High Country, snowfields and wineries.
Wodonga is perfectly placed for wine lovers touring the wineries of King Valley, Rutherglen, Milawa, Beechworth and Tumbarumba. For summer walks and winter skiing, Mount Buffalo and Alpine National Park are close.
