A million blooms planted over an area of 8,000 square meters will be displayed. A whopping 480,000 visitors attend this festival each year. Floriade takes place at the Commonwealth Park, near the Canberra City Centre. Entry is free.

Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, Queensland
This award winning festival is now entering its 67th year. It is a lavish event, complete with live music, wine and local food. Visitors can treat themselves to the visual beauty and various activities at the festival. It is a ten-day event that is full of life, entertainment and leisure.

Tulip Time Festival, Bowral
The Bowral Tulip Time Festival enters its 56th year in 2016 with about a 100,000 tulip bulbs at display. Apart from the main exhibition and entertainment, visitors will also have access to various open gardens. The festival takes place every year at the Corbett Gardens complete with the Bowral Street Parade. One adult ticket is priced at $10, whereas locals can avail a discount.

Renmark’s Rose Festival, Victoria
This festival is a spectacular 10-day event, which includes the display of 3,500 rose bushes from the plantation of fifty-one bed gardens. The theme for the 22nd episode this year is “For the love of roses”. The Ruston’s Rose Garden in Renmark houses the National Rose Collection and has 27 acres dedicated to to roses and ornamental plants.

Kings Park Festival, Perth
This festival is a showcase of varying kinds of the famous Australian wildflowers from all over the country. It is held at the Kings Park and Botanic Garden. This year marks the 53rd year of the festival, with an expected produce of over 30,000 plants. The entry to the festival is free.
