If you’re a food lover heading to Brisbane this coming November, you’ll be pleased to learn that the Good Food & Wine Show is returning to Brisbane for the weekend of 8 November 2013.

The Good Food & Wine Show is fun weekend filled with food and wine from some of Australia’s best chefs, producers and wineries. There’ll be big name guests including some Australian favourites, masterclasses, demonstrations and plenty of samples.


Celebrity Theatre

Some of Australia’s top chefs will be cooking live on stage. They’ll show how to make mouth-watering dishes, teach you new techniques and offer up some expert tips and tricks for you to try at home.

The chefs on stage in Brisbane include:

- Maggie Beer
- Anna Gare
- Matt Moran
- Alistair McLeod
- Miguel Maestre

Features and Masterclasses 

For an additional cost, you can attend some of the weekend’s features and masterclasses. For example, there’s 30 minute cheese masterclasses, an express lesson in cheese including samples. There’s also Chef’s Table, which includes a 3 course tasting menu with matching wines. 


A range of exhibitors will be there over the weekend, many with free samples for you to try their produce. Sample different foods including cheese, spreads, pastries and yogurt. There will also be wine and beer exhibitors.


General entry tickets cost $25.00. This covers entry, unlimited samples and some demonstrations. Entry to features and masterclasses are at an additional cost. VIP packages are also available. For more information and to buy tickets online.


The Good Food & Wine Show will be taking place from Friday 8 November to Sunday 10 November. It opens at 9am and closes at 5pm each day. 


The Good Food & Wine Show will be located at the Brisbane Convention Centre.

Getting There 

Getting to the show is nice and easy in a hire car you pick up from Hertz at their Brisbane airport car rental location. The Convention Centre is located in downtown Brisbane, so the drive will be nice and short if you’re staying in the heart of Brisbane. There is plenty of secure, undercover parking available so you can park your rental car with ease and enjoy your day.
If you’d prefer to leave your hire car behind, there are public transport options including trains, buses and ferries.
