Todd Mall Markets

Come along to the last Todd Mall Market for the year – it’s the end of market season in Alice Springs for 2014. The Todd Mall market opens with the town crier’s announcement, at which point Todd Mall market goers can browse the stalls, selling arts and crafts, souvenirs, jewellery, and local fresh produce and food. Live entertainment keeps the atmosphere lively, and there is free wi fi available. Indulge in a lazy Sunday brunch and wander down the pedestrian malls and its various plazas and arcades.

Alice Springs Christmas Carnival

Friday 12 December 2014 5pm – 9pm
Alice Springs Town Council lawns, Todd St, Araluen


The official Alice Springs Town Council Christmas Carnival is a free family friendly community event. Expect a festive schedule packed with activities, market stalls and live entertainment – buskers and roving performances, as well as local Alice Springs musicians, on the main stage. Meanwhile, browse the Christmas Carnival market stalls for fresh food and produce, plants, clothes and jewellery, and even books. Kids can enjoy the Secret Solar Garden, and they have the opportunity to win a chance to be one of the chosen ones to switch on the Christmas lights.

Alice Springs Carols by Candlelight

Sunday 14 December 2014, 6pm
The Alice Springs Youth Hub, Wills Terrace, Araluen


Come along to Carols by Candlelight for a night of carolling and entertainment from some of Alice Springs’ best musical talent and vocalists – some surprises are tipped at the 2014 event. The gates open at 6pm with a gold coin donation for entry (including candle and programme) and music starts at 7pm, culminating in an epic fireworks display. Bring a picnic mat or blanket. Food will also be on sale at the oval at the venue.
