Head to the northern Brisbane suburb of Geebung for the Garage Sale Trail, a national initiative designed to promote community and sustainability. It’s essentially one bumper day of garage sales, with many shops getting in on the action and setting up to sell all types of quality recycled items. You can register a solo garage sale or set up a group sale. In addition you can register your sale on the website for free. Buyers can then browse these and add them to a Treasure Trail to help them map out goodies in their neighbourhood on the day.
