Applicant Programme Changes


We are pleased to announce the launch of enhanced security features for our Applicant Program when booking directly on our website.

We are implementing these additional measures to reduce the chance of fraudulent use of your company billing information, where you currently may use an Applicant PIN number to charge back to a chargeback account or a company central credit card.

  1. Beginning 11 February 2022, the “Applicant Program” URL link on our website has been changed and is no longer active for making reservations.


  2. The new URL link is instead being sent directly to customers, it will no longer be displayed on our website. You may have already received the new link via our customer communication emailed in early February explaining the changes, if you did not receive it please contact your local Sales office for a copy which also contains the link.


  3. As an added level of security, we will be incorporating a password requirement, our Sales team will explain more when discussing the above changes with you.


This is only applicable to bookings via our website. If you do not book your Applicant program reservations on Hertz.com.au, hertz.com, or hertz.co.nz, please note that this does not impact you. Independent online booking tools and travel management company ‘GDS’ direct reservations will not experience any changes.
