What is the ‘My Journey Portal’?


The ‘My Journey Portal’ is a central web portal where customers of the car rental brands Hertz, Firefly and Ace can access information regarding their rental. Currently you can view your tax invoice for toll road usage and a damage pack notification if they are applicable to your rental.

 

How can I access the ‘My Journey Portal’?


You will receive an email with a link to access the ‘My Journey Portal’ once your rental information is made available. Alternatively, you can

Please note that your toll invoice will become available around 28 days after your rental has closed.

 

How do I log into the ‘My Journey Portal’?


You will be required to enter the date of birth of the renter to access your rental information. Please ensure you enter the date of birth with the format “DDMMYYYY” with no spaces or dashes for your login to be successful. If you have accessed via the web link you will also be required to enter in your Rental Agreement number.


There is also a ‘Corporate’ login option applicable to corporate travelers. This login option requires you to enter in your Rental Agreement number, the Renter’s Last name and either the last 4 digits of the credit card used or the customer discount program (CDP) code. Please ensure that you enter the CDP in with no leading zeros i.e. “12345” instead of “000012345”.

Toll invoice FAQs

 

I setup a pass with the Toll company directly so why have I received an invoice for toll road usage? 


A toll pass from a toll authority must be purchased prior to using any toll roads otherwise it will be charged against Hertz’s toll account. The toll charges are then forwarded to you with an Administration Fee as per the Rental Agreement.


If you set up a pass but were still charged for toll road usage, please send a copy of your pass so we can review the Administration Fee. Please send this to aushertzcustrel@hertz.com and please include your Rental Agreement or Reservation number.

 

I was using my own etag so why have I received an invoice for toll road usage?


This could have occurred due to toll trips not registering on your tag as you passed the toll point and instead being charged against Hertz’s toll account. The toll road usage charges are then forwarded to you with an Administration Fee as per the rental agreement.


If you had your own tag in the vehicle but have still incurred a charge for toll road usage, please send a copy of your etag statement showing the device was in the vehicle at the time of the rental for a review of the Administration Fee.
