Outside of Canberra

Namadgi National Park
Embark upon a bushwalk to the Booroomba Rocks for epic views of Canberra. Just a one-hour drive outside Canberra, watch the Brindabella Ranges cascade throughout the horizon after a 2.5km climb.

Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve
Through hills and mountains, 40 minutes from the Canberra CBD, sits the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve with an abundance of natural wildlife and walking tracks. Make a pit stop nearby in the Corin Forest to try the Alpine Slide or Gibraltar Falls.

Sapphire Coast
Travel three hours outside of Canberra through the alpine town of Cooma. Stop by the Snowy Mountains and the Great Dividing Range on your way to the Sapphire Coast. Chill out in the beach town of Merimbula or the stunning coastal town of Eden (30 minutes south of Merimbula) for a cheeky weekend away.

Batemans Bay

Berrima
A great place for a recharge. Only an eighty-minute drive from Canberra, this Georgian-era village oozes with charisma. Surrounded by national parks, venture out on a refreshing hike, cycle or kayak. For a chilled morning, explore the hub of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants in town.

Bowral
Eat your heart out (after a 2.5-hour drive); there are plenty of wineries and dining choices to go around. For the cricket fans, visit the Bradman Centre, or discover the art galleries full of local artists’ work and quirky shops along the way. If you drive an hour onwards, you’ll hit the northern beaches of Wollongong and the Great Pacific Drive.
