Located just over an hours’ drive away is the incredible Blue Mountains National Park. This World Heritage listed site is famed for its incredible canyons, epic green bushland, and the beautiful blue haze that captivates all who visit. Stop by Echo Point and gaze out to the Three Sisters rock formation and beyond, before descending into the canyons on one of the many walking tracks throughout the park. Before you leave the area, make sure to stop by the charming towns that line the national park, like Katoomba and Leura, to just name a few.
While you’re staying in Five Dock, you should definitely take advantage of this fantastic location and head on over to the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney for a day trip. It’ll take you just over 20-minutes by car, and you’ll have some of the best beaches in the whole of Australia waiting for you once you arrive. Perhaps lay out by the infamous Icebergs Pool, or go on the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk before enjoying a coffee overlooking the water. If the sun is out then there is nothing quite like a day by the beach here in Sydney.
