SeaWorld and the Palazzo Versace Fashion Hotel

The famous marine theme park, SeaWorld, is only a short drive away in a rental car. SeaWorld is a huge, 25-hectare marine theme park, offering a combination of rides, shows and attractions – all perfect family entertainment. SeaWorld has become so popular that there is now a hotel on-site, the SeaWorld Resort. This is a great, family-friendly option if travelling with kids.

The park's activities range from a freshwater wave pool, with waves up to one metre high, to an extensive series of spectacular water slides and raft and tube rides.

Unmissable for the movie buffs

The most famous of all the attractions in the area is the Warner Bros. Movie World, located on the Pacific Motorway at Oxenford. Designed as a working studio with a number of large stages and an extensive range of state-of-the-art equipment, Movie World also opertates as a family-friendly theme park. It’s an unmissable day of family fun for visitors to the Southport region.
