They focus on artwork, woodwork and jewellery for the most part here, so there are plenty of beautiful things for you to choose from. You can also see some very talented Aboriginal artists at work, along with a busy calendar of educational events, so soak up the history and the creativity here.
Blast from the Past
Let the kids get a glimpse of Mildura’s colonial past with a visit to the Mildura Homestead. Local history enthusiasts have built this re-recreation of one of Mildura’s oldest buildings and turned it into a fantastic place to explore history and have some fun. There’s a woolshed with sheep shearing displays, and lots of activities happening throughout the grounds. Created as a time capsule of the past, you can see how people lived in the colonial days of Mildura, and get involved in one of the many activities on offer.
