Read on as we tell you the best way to cover Sydney in 2 days.

Day 1:

The first thing you should upon arrival is to get a car hire from Sydney Airport. From there, drive down to the Sydney Harbour to feast your eyes upon the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You can see them up-close by taking a cruise ferry from the Harbour.

After the cruise, drive around and try some signature seafood delicacies at one of the many waterfront restaurants around the harbour.

Following lunch, visit The Rocks and wander around the area to find stores offering interesting Aboriginal handicraft souvenirs. If you are visiting Sydney over the weekend, take a small drive to George Street in the city centre and watch the street come alive with the outdoor market.

A visit to Sydney cannot be complete without a visit to the beach. After a brief shopping stint, drive to Bondi Beach, which is only 20-minutes away from the CBD. Watch the beautiful sunset and unwind at one of the popular restaurants along the oceanfront with a glass of Australian wine. Accommodation options are available in plenty near the beach and feel free to drive around and find something suitable.

Day 2:

Start the second day at the Harbour Bridge yet again; this time, however, for a thrilling climbing above this iconic landmark. The climb is safe and may take anywhere between 2-3 hours. Once you reach the top, the view is priceless and worth all the time and effort.

Next, drive down to Darling Harbour where you can visit the Maritime Museum, the Sydney Aquarium and the stunning Chinese Gardens. Grab a quick bite to eat at one of the many restaurants and cafes dotted around.
End the day with a bit of glam and head out to The Star Sydney Casino, the second largest casino in the country. Finish off your short vacation with a drive down to the local pubs in and around the Circular Quay. Sydney has an interesting night life with many lively pubs that offer great entertainment to visitors.
