National Portrait Gallery

Canberra Glassworks

If industrial design is more your kind of art, Canberra Glassworks is a must-see. Showcasing the versatility and beauty of glass in all its forms, you can’t fail to be inspired by the beautiful collections on display here. Watch glassmakers at work in the ‘Hotshop’, browse the items on sale or take part in one of the workshop programs. There’s something for all ages to enjoy here.

National Film and Sound Archive

With more than two million items in the collection, the NFSA hosts the most extensive collection of Australian film in the country. Their curated collections are constantly changing, but are always surprising and entertaining. Check out what’s on show while you’re in Canberra.

Telstra Tower

One of the most iconic buildings in Canberra’s skyline, the Telstra Tower is also open to visitors. The three hundred and sixty degree panoramas on offer give you the best views of the city, and the tower and surrounds host art installations from time to time as well.
