Kununurra Airport – known officially as East Kimberley Regional Airport – is located on the western edge of the town it serves.
Kununurra Airport is also home to companies that operate scenic flights by helicopter and plane. These allow you to fly over this spectacular landscape, land at an outback airstrip and continue your tour on foot or by four wheel drive. This is the most relaxing way to enjoy the Bungle Bungles, including the simply awesome Cathedral Gorge, or Mitchell Falls in Mitchell River National Park.
